Short Track FAST & CURIOUS - Folding Bike Battle
On your marks, get set, fold! The Folding Bike Battle brings speed, technique and lots of fun to the Cycle Week short track. Four participants, one start signal, folded bikes on the track - and then every second counts: jump, unfold the folding bike, ride off. Improvisation, skill and nerves of steel are required. Wanted: 32 participants.
The race is run in fast knockout mode: women and men compete together. In each round, only the fastest riders progress to the grand final on the 150-meter short track. Your own folding bikes stay at home: the bikes are drawn by lot and declared shortly before the start: Brompton versus Tern.
Cycle Week presenter Dario Linder and DJ Spanks provide the right atmosphere, the DJ set was curated by Café Europa - urban vibes included. Save your place & take part for free!

16:45: Prize-giving ceremony followed by a prize draw for the Tern folding bike among all participants

The Cargobike Battle is the powerful highlight on the short track and is aimed exclusively at adults. This is where riding technique, brains and muscle power meet - packed into a spectacular knockout format. Wanted: 8 participants.
The race track belongs to the youngest bike fans at the Short Track Kidsrace by Kids&Co. At three races on Saturday and Sunday, the focus is on play, exercise and first racing moments - without any pressure to perform, but with lots of applause and beaming faces. Wanted: 60 children between 2 and 5 years old
The Specialbikes Battle brings the craziest bikes to the short track - and guarantees maximum fun factor. The bikes used are Hoppel bikes and Verkehrt bikes from V COOL: jumping instead of rolling, thinking backwards instead of forwards.
