Short Track FAST & CURIOUS – Specialbikes Battle
Unusual, wobbly, completely different! The Specialbikes Battle brings the craziest bikes to the short track - and guarantees maximum fun factor. The bikes used are Hoppel bikes and Verkehrt bikes from V COOL: jumping instead of rolling, thinking backwards instead of forwards.
The challenge? Maintaining control, picking up speed and not losing your bearings. While the Hoppel-Velo with its special riding sensation ensures plenty of movement, the Verkehrt-Velo requires real rethinking - here everything works the other way round.
Riding takes place in direct duel mode: 16 participants compete against each other, lap after lap, until it is clear who has mastered the chaos best. More fun than perfection, more action than technique - pure FAST & CURIOUS.

The Cargobike Battle is the powerful highlight on the short track and is aimed exclusively at adults. This is where riding technique, brains and muscle power meet - packed into a spectacular knockout format. Wanted: 8 participants.
The race track belongs to the youngest bike fans at the Short Track Kidsrace by Kids&Co. At three races on Saturday and Sunday, the focus is on play, exercise and first racing moments - without any pressure to perform, but with lots of applause and beaming faces. Wanted: 60 children between 2 and 5 years old
The Folding Bike Battle brings speed, technique and lots of fun to the Cycle Week short track. Four participants, one start signal, folded bikes on the track - and then every second counts: jump, unfold the folding bike, ride off. Improvisation, skill and nerves of steel are required. Wanted: 32 participants.
The Bicycle Catwalk Contest at Cycle Week turns the short track into a rolling stage:
150 meters of asphalt. An infinite amount of attitude. It's not the time that is measured, but the creativity.
Wanted: 30 people (or up to 3 people in a team) who show that cycling can be more than just going fast in a straight line!
