Raphael Dähler and Nico Altherr amaze visitors to the Europaplatz with spectacular street trial shows.

Spectacular tricks and jumps, that's MTB Street Trial. Athletes demonstrate their skill and creativity on urban obstacles such as stairs, railings and walls. Balance, precision and courage are required. In the 30-minute Street Trial Shows by placeB, Swiss athletes Raphael Dähler and Nico Altherr show off their skills in spectacular fashion. The shows are hosted by "the one and only" Dario Linder.

Raphael Dähler

MTB street trial rider and content creator Raphael Dähler began developing his passion for cycling at an early age. With creative ideas and impressive stunts, he inspires his followers on social media, especially on Instagram and TikTok. Raphael combines his skills in video editing and graphic design with his love of biking.

Nico Altherr

22-year-old Nico Altherr will be taking part in the street trial shows! Nico is part of the up-and-coming Swiss MTB street trial community and inspires with creative stunts and content on social media.

Moderator Dario Linder

Dario Linder is a versatile Swiss presenter, podcaster and speaker. He is known for his passion for mountain biking and snowboarding, which he skillfully combines with his moderation. Dario hosts numerous bike events and can often be found at the microphone, behind the DJ booth or at the bar.

Bunnyhop Open - Public Contest

The Bunnyhop Open celebrates its premiere at Cycle Week. The contest offers a platform for street trial riders and mountain bikers to show off their skills. Everyone can take part, regardless of ability and age.

The mode is simple: participants have to jump their bike over a bar that gets higher and higher. Each rider has several attempts to overcome the height. Whoever reaches the highest height wins the contest.

There's cash in hand to be won:
250 francs for first place, 150 for second place and 100 francs for third place
