120 exhibitors with hundreds of test bikes
In Europaallee, visitors will find an overview of the entire range of bikes: the latest innovations and products from the bike industry, new products that can also be tested and touched. In addition, bicycle-related services, travel destinations, tourist destinations and inspiration for the next cycling adventure will be on display. Children and their parents will feel particularly at home at Cycle Week, as there are three specific zones for them: the Swiss Cycling Skills Parcours with the opportunity to obtain the Velopass badge, the Nipper Zone with a balance bike course and the Decathlon Kids Playground with a wide range of activities where kids can let off steam for hours.
At Campus Brunau, the focus is on sporty cycling. The Saalsporthalle is the hotspot for anyone who likes to get on a bike themselves. Visitors are advised to visit Brunau in their cycling gear!
Countless innovations and further developments in everyday mobility
The trend towards e-bikes continues unabated and one innovation follows another: Batteries and motors are becoming ever more powerful and ranges are increasing. Thanks to bikes made from recycled materials and environmentally friendly manufacturing processes, cycling is becoming even more sustainable. Bikes are also getting smarter and smarter. Manufacturers are integrating technologies such as GPS, fitness tracking and theft protection into smart bikes.

The sporty bikes are ready for testing
The heart of Campus Brunau is the big bike test for sporty bikes such as road, gravel and MTB, which can be tested directly on the trails in the forest next door and away from busy roads.

150 Workshops and Rides
The workshops introduced three years ago at Cycle Week are extremely popular, with the first 200 bookings being made within 24 hours of the start of bookings. Riding technique courses, social rides and theory workshops offer visitors to Brunau the opportunity to learn new skills. The organizers are expecting over 1000 participants, who will be inspired by numerous specialists and bike guides on topics such as riding technique, bike fitting and nutrition. Patagonia will also be repairing MTB and outdoor clothing of all kinds free of charge at its Worn Wear stand, Transa will be offering outdoor inspiration with its Tent Days and Ortlieb will be giving bags and rucksacks a second lease of life.
Bikepacking in its extreme form
Züri Escape is the name of the bikepacking gravel event at Cycle Week. Züri Escape is a self-supported bikepacking gravel adventure that starts on Friday in Brunau as part of Cycle Week. The route covers 420 kilometers and 10,000 vertical meters through breathtaking landscapes.
A bike festival to mark the opening of the city tunnel
To kick off Cycle Week, Zurich is celebrating the opening of the city tunnel on May 22, 2025 with a bike parade and a bike festival. The city is celebrating a historic event with the opening of the cycle link under Zurich main station. A tunnel that was built for a highway will become a tunnel for cyclists. The city tunnel thus becomes a safe bicycle connection between districts 4 and 5, offering free parking spaces and direct access to the main station. If you want to be among the first to ride through the tunnel, get a free ticket and come to Lagerstrasse at 5.30 pm. From 6.30 p.m., it's free for all and a bike festival with various attractions, competitions and bars on the "city tunnel circuit". On the Cycle Week site, bike shows will amaze visitors and various DJs will provide good beats.
Spectacular and fascinating competitions and shows
International and national dirt jump bikers will meet again on the Cycle Week weekend at the only international MTB Dirt Jump Contest in Switzerland on Saturday and Sunday at the ZüriTrails Jumppark near Brunau for the Züri Dirt Contest.
At Cycle Week, the world's best artists on two wheels will also compete in the international BMX Flatland Contest. This year's participants include last year's winner Kio Hayakawa from Japan, German champion Dustyn Alt and Zurich resident Dan Hennig.
At Red Bull's dance-your-style event, BMX flatland artists compete against dance professionals of all styles.
Dangerholm from Scott, known from radio and television, but above all from social media, pimps a custom bike on the spot.
Zurich-based Raphael Dähler and Nico Altherr are part of the up-and-coming MTB street trial community and inspire with their creative stunts and content on social media. In their 30-minute shows, the Swiss athletes demonstrate their skills on the Europaplatz.
