A versatile cycling world for everyday life, mobility, leisure and sport will be created on Europaallee, while Brunau will become a sporting hotspot. As the largest bike festival in Switzerland, CYCLE WEEK presents the entire spectrum of the scene: innovations from the industry, hundreds of test bikes, inspiring workshops, guided rides, impressive shows and, for the first time, spectacular short track races! Whether city, cargo, gravel, road or mountain bikes - visitors can try everything out for themselves. Admission to the event in Europaallee and Brunau is free of charge.
Europaallee - Fast&Furious in Lagerstrasse!
This year, the festival site on Europaallee will be showing its strongest side. In addition to exciting brands and innovative products, numerous destinations will be presenting themselves and whetting the appetite for bike excursions and vacations. Visitors can test ride the latest bike models on the two-kilometer test track through the city tunnel. An open festival area will be created around Europaplatz and the new, adjacent Postterrasse, inviting visitors to linger, observe and take a deep breath.
The BMX Flatland contest, the artistic bike battles and the street trial shows will provide adrenaline kicks, while the roller sprint facility will challenge the audience to a short-time duel.
A new highlight of the 2026 edition of Cycle Week: The short-track spectacle CYCLE WEEK FAST&FURIOUS on Lagerstrasse, which is partially closed especially for CYCLE WEEK. A wide variety of competitions will be held on a 150-metre-long track with start and finish infrastructure and speed measurement - with racing bikes, BMX bikes, cargo bikes and children's running bikes.
Brunau - large selection of sporty test bikes
With its diverse test tracks, the event site in Brunau offers ideal conditions for all sports bikes, racing bikes, gravel bikes and mountain bikes.
The campus is open to all interested parties and offers an excellent opportunity to extensively test the right bike and acquire new skills and knowledge at the numerous workshops for riding technique and theory. The Skills Area in the middle of the campus is now the Bike Kingdom Playground. If you don't test, it's your own fault! Looking at bikes on the internet is all well and good, but touching and trying them out is only possible on site.
Over 100 courses and rides invite you to join in - from riding technique workshops for beginners and advanced riders on road, gravel or mountain bikes, accompanied by Swiss Cycling Guides, to offers on nutrition, sleep, regeneration, route planning and bike fitting workshops.
Campus Brunau has become a popular meeting place to deepen specialist knowledge, exchange experiences and network with like-minded people.
Novelties, trends, workshops and rides
Around 120 exhibitors will be presenting innovative products, services, sustainable materials and smart technologies. The range extends from city, cargo, gravel, road and mountain bikes to children's bikes. The variety is complemented by accessories, accessories as well as bike vacations in the mountains at home and abroad and other urban offers. The fact that CYCLE WEEK is the most complete cycling event in Switzerland is also demonstrated by the comprehensive range of well-known and new brands!
The safety course, which is being realized in collaboration with the City of Zurich, has the motto "Stay alert and smart" this year. In various traffic situations, visitors are sensitized to safe cycling in a playful way. The cycle test track through the city tunnel is also available again one year after its opening.
Nowhere else will fans find more concentrated cycling knowledge than at CYCLE WEEK - whether in inspiring theoretical inputs or in practice - when trying out and testing.
International competitions
International dirt jump pros meet at the Züri Dirt Contest for the only Swiss stop of the World Tour in Jumppark Sihlcity. The qualification with around 50 athletes takes place on Saturday, the grand final on Sunday.
The BMX Flatland Contest on Saturday is also a highlight: international world-class athletes compete here. On Friday evening, a battle will provide showtime when BMX riders compete against dance professionals.
The ultra-cycling and bikepacking adventure Züri Escape leads over 420 kilometers and 10'000 meters of altitude through impressive landscapes. 50 women and 50 men were selected from over 300 applicants to take part in the third edition.
The bicycle as a lifelong companion
The CYCLE WEEK impressively demonstrates that a bicycle is much more than just a means of transportation. A customized bike increases comfort, performance and safety - and therefore makes riding more fun. From childhood to old age, the bicycle accompanies us through various phases of life, whether commuting, in our leisure time or on journeys of discovery. It promotes exercise, health and enables fast progress in the city as well as relaxed rides.
Admission to the entire CYCLE WEEK is free of charge.
