Get to the startline: Bikepacking workshop with komoot

Planning a multi-day tour by bike - where do I start? What do I pack? How do I plan the route? How do I prepare myself? You'll learn all this from Sara in this workshop powered by komoot.

Get to the startline: Bikepacking - planning and preparation made easy powered by komoot

Sara, one half of Project Pedal Further and founder of the gravELLE club, gives you an insight into the basics of bikepacking. She shows you what you need to consider in terms of preparation, route planning and equipment. She talks about her bike trips and the bikepacking overnighters that she organizes with the gravELLE club for a mostly female audience and gives you practical tips so that you can tackle small and big bikepacking adventures yourself.

Sara - ½ of Project Pedal Further and the brains behind the gravELLE club

Sara and her husband, Project Pedal Further, prefer to explore near and far, known and unknown destinations by bike. She doesn't mind lugging everything she needs with her: She has found that it's quite good to limit yourself to the bare essentials and that you don't really need that much on the road. You can also find her tour reports and routes on her komoot profile. She is happy to pass on her knowledge, which is why she organizes gravel rides and bikepacking adventures for women and occasionally for mixed groups (+FRIENDS) with the gravELLE club. The aim is to create space for female riders who don't yet have much experience with gravel and bikepacking and riders who are perhaps already very experienced but want to ride with women only from time to time.
