Are you looking for adventure and enjoy being out in nature? Do you enjoy whizzing through the forest on your bike or exploring the countryside on gravel roads far away from traffic? And don't necessarily want to do this alone, but with like-minded people (like-minded women)? Then this social ride is just the thing for you. It's not about pace, wattage and speed, but about sharing the experience in a group and exchanging ideas with other gravel riders.

On Friday evening, there is a ride especially for women called gravELLE club. The approximately two-hour ride starts at Campus Brunau and ends at Europaallee Velofest, where everyone can toast together and enjoy the bike shows.

All are welcome to join the mixed ride on Saturday with Sara and Andi and their "Pedal Further" project.

• From 16 years, pace: Moderate / Intermediate (basic fitness and a little experience with riding on gravel roads required)
• Equipment: Come with your own bike: All bikes are welcome (gravel bike, MTB or road bike with a tire width of min. 35 mm), helmet (mandatory), spare inner tube, lights, GPS device (if available) with route (this will be sent to you by email a few days before the ride), liquids and snacks for in-between

The ticket costs 10 francs (inkl. 2.6% MwSt). The ticket is personalized and cannot be exchanged or refunded. Insurance is the responsibility of the participants, the organizers decline any liability.

Sara and Andreas

Sara organizes gravel rides and bikepacking adventures for women and occasionally for mixed groups (+FRIENDS) in the Bern area with the gravELLE club. She wants to create space for female riders who don't yet have much experience with gravel and bikepacking and riders who are perhaps already very experienced but want to be out and about with women only from time to time.

As Project Pedal Further, they both explore near and far, known and unknown destinations together, preferably by bike and with the komoot app. They love riding on unpaved roads and trails and are not afraid of hike-a-bike sections. So it's no wonder that they like to share their love of off-road riding and organize social rides and bikepacking events in the Bern area.
